We are currently looking to hire a Business Transformation Consultant to help in expanding and strengthening our client’s organization. If you have obtained a Master’s degree in Economics, Management, or Engineering, 3-6 years of relevant experience in transforming businesses at international operating clients, as well as native or full professional proficiency in French, Dutch, and English, you should consider sending your application.


About the client

Our client is a Belgian management consulting firm, specialized in transforming businesses. They help national and international companies to define their business transformation strategies and assist in the implementation of complex transformations. Their goal is to create superior value for all stakeholders within their client organizations, by:

• Defining or tuning the long-term vision and strategy, setting up the transformation program and identifying the dominant path of least resistance to create value

• Creating a seamless integrated set of processes, organizations and performance measures for all business areas changed by the transformation program

• Coaching executives in delivering the transformation program, and guide the workforce towards smooth acceptance of change

• Re-enforcing the daily operations by delivering interim management when required


Main responsibilities

• To conduct profound analytical studies to validate the relevancy of a series of hypotheses; 

• Model scenarios and create distinct organisational capabilities based on solid business cases; 

• Conduct client specific studies and participate in/organise workshops; 

• Take charge of the implementation of the assigned areas of the transformation program; 

• Engage and communicate with the client at every possible level (from board to floor level); 

• Build teams both within the firm as well as with clients and business partners; 

• Help build the firm’s practice.


Candidate profile

• University degree, preferably coupled with a specialization in business economics or a MBA;

• At least 3 years of experience for a Consultant in an international environment;

• Solid generalist business experiences, combined with advanced project execution/management skills, in depth knowledge of at least one business domain (i.e. Sales, Operations, HR, Performance Management, ICT, …) and good commercial and social skills;

• A consulting background is a plus, though not strictly required;

• Change management expertise is an advantage; recognizing its importance and willingness to develop these skills is a must;

• Profound analytical and problem solving skills are a key asset;

• Capability to mobilize and leverage talent at clients’ site, as well as internally;

• Fluency in Dutch, French and English;

• Entrepreneurial mindset;

• Empathy;

• Team player;

• Client-centric.
